Plant Operator

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum Std 10 or Grade 12 equivalent qualification, Mathematics and Natural Science subjects will be advantages
• Code 11 license
• Computor literate will be an added advantage
• Basic Chemistry knowledge would be an added advantage
• Having a Front-end loader, Forklift license would be an added advantage
• Experience within the current Cape Lime processes would be an added advantage
• The applicant must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a South Africa identity document
  
  

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)

• Operate any of the following production processes: Fluidized Bed Kiln, Hydrator, Secondary Crusher, Mineral Filler, Dolomite Processing (DVA), Fluid Lime and Oxide Processing (FLBP, OPP) and all associated tasks on a continuous basis (shift work)
• Be prepared to accept working conditions and conditions of employment that are associated with Cape Limes’ processes
• Report to and take instructions from the Shift Foreman who will be your direct supervisor
• Must be medically fit as determined by the applicable legislation (Mine Health and Safety Act)
• Must be prepared to undergo further training on all other processes at Cape Lime
