Farmasi is an international beauty and personal care manufacturer, retailer and direct seller in the beauty, personal care, home and wellness and accessories categories. We started our journey as a pharmaceutical manufacturer in 1950 with our founder, Dr Tuna, but over time our business evolved into cosmetics manufacturing.
To truly understand Farmasi's heritage, we need to see it as 2 separate entities. The first is our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We have one of the largest integrated cosmetics manufacturing plants in the world, located in Istanbul, Turkey, in an environmentally friendly environment. Integrated manufacturing means that not only do we manufacture the product in bulk, but we also produce most of our own packaging in-house and draw our water from wells located within our facilities. We are largely surrounded by a beautiful green environment. To date, we have formulated thousands of products, launched more than 2,000 products and shipped our products to more than 125 countries around the world.
On the other side of the story, there is a record-breaking direct selling company. Our company was founded in 2010 in our home country, Turkey. Achieving triple-digit growth over the last 7 years, we are now operating in 25 markets in the form of direct sales. We have been experiencing significant growth which is mainly based on best-in-class compensation plan, wide product portfolio and incredible quality for the price paid, in each of the countries where we started our operations.
Farmasi Spain looking for a dynamic professional to lead our Spain logistics operations.
*** Locations: Successful Candidates will be assigned to Spain***
Responsibilities:
- Oversees activities of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, training and safety
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
- Maintains inventory accuracies of 99% or above
- Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales, records control and purchasing
- Performs month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories reconcile with books
- Ensures maintenance of clean, orderly and safe warehouse
- Participates in planning personnel safety
- Builds a positive work environment
- Collaborates with sales executives to ensure that products reach customers at the optimal time
- Ensures inventory at optimal levels
- Interacts with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of materials and parts
- Negotiates contracts and prices with vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken,
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken,
- Experience working in Direct selling or E-commerce
- Comfortable working across cultures and have interpersonal and communication skills needed to build trust with our employees, entrepreneurs, and teams globally
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Willing and able to work a varying schedule within a day as necessary for success of the organization
