QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field; Masters or MBA preferred,
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications; 3+ years of management experience preferred,
- Excellent communications skills and editorial capabilities,
- An exceptional writer (in Turkish and English) in creating content in a variety of styles (press releases, social media, internal stories) with strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Fluency in English both writing and speaking,
- Experience in developing corporate branding and communications strategies,
- Experience in managing agencies, media relations, crisis communications,
- Digital Communications/Social Media management experience,
- Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects,
- Superior planning, project management, organizational and time management skills,
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work on deadline,
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing an overall corporate communications strategy and implementing effective communication procedures and policies
- Developing company website strategy and content based on overall communications strategy, working with internal and external partners
- Negotiating and managing strategic agency and media relations
- Managing crisis communication
- Managing and hosting internal and external events and organizations
- Making sure all product and company related materials are in place for fairs, events and organizations
- Managing digital & sustainability content for social media channels and company websites
- Managing and being responsible for all publishing processes of regular published company magazine
- Creating and updating printed/digital materials such as handbooks or flyers
- Creating and updating standard corporate presentation templates
- Drafting internal company communications announcing company news and initiatives
- Establish communication tools and processes to improve internal communications
- Taking an active role in corporate social responsibility projects and working closely with HR on employer branding campaigns
