QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field; Masters or MBA preferred,
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications; 3+ years of management experience preferred,
  • Excellent communications skills and editorial capabilities,
  • An exceptional writer (in Turkish and English) in creating content in a variety of styles (press releases, social media, internal stories) with strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Fluency in English both writing and speaking,
  • Experience in developing corporate branding and communications strategies,
  • Experience in managing agencies, media relations, crisis communications,
  • Digital Communications/Social Media management experience,
  • Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects,
  • Superior planning, project management, organizational and time management skills,
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work on deadline,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing an overall corporate communications strategy and implementing effective communication procedures and policies
  • Developing company website strategy and content based on overall communications strategy, working with internal and external partners
  • Negotiating and managing strategic agency and media relations
  • Managing crisis communication
  • Managing and hosting internal and external events and organizations
  • Making sure all product and company related materials are in place for fairs, events and organizations
  • Managing digital & sustainability content for social media channels and company websites
  • Managing and being responsible for all publishing processes of regular published company magazine
  • Creating and updating printed/digital materials such as handbooks or flyers
  • Creating and updating standard corporate presentation templates
  • Drafting internal company communications announcing company news and initiatives
  • Establish communication tools and processes to improve internal communications
  • Taking an active role in corporate social responsibility projects and working closely with HR on employer branding campaigns
