We are looking forward to receiving applications for a full-time bilingual English Teacher position for 2025-2026 academic school year.
İZMİR SEV MIDDLE SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
To implement the English instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
To fully understand, embrace and implement ISEV’s mission, vision, goals, and motto as the drivers for the student learning objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Pedagogical Formation
· BA in English
PREFERED QUALIFICATION
· Master’s in education
· A minimum of four years of teaching experience in the field of certification
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· Knowledge in current instructional methodologies, “student-centered” classrooms, curriculum development and evaluation, differentiated instruction and student assessment
· Experience with and desire to work in a bilingual / multicultural environment
· Well-rounded ability to provide quality instruction in all areas of the English language arts with a special emphasis on reading and writing literacy, literature, speaking and use of language
· Demonstrated ability to integrate technology, ESL/EFL teaching strategies, and research-based formative/summative assessment into the learning environment/experience
· Experience teaching English using Aero English Language Arts Curriculum Framework K-12 standards and performance indicators and Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) guidelines in a well-respected middle school/educational institution that highly values academic achievement in preparation for high school studies
· Proven experience at developing and maintaining meaningful extra/co-curricular activities
· Demonstrated commitment to Global Citizenship, excellence in teaching with high standards, application of differentiated learning with a multicultural perspective.
