KEY REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience; proficiency in UE5’s advanced features (Lumen, Nanite, etc.),
- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing gameplay mechanics from scratch,
- Extensive experience working with Blueprint systems, visualizing and integrating complex systems,
- Skilled in designing Anim Graphs, controlling character animations, and optimizing performance,
- Experience in utilizing Unreal Engine’s Metahuman framework to create realistic characters, integrate animations, and optimize performance,
- Knowledge of synchronizing Metahuman facial expressions and lip movements based on TTS-generated data,
- Experience in working with multiplayer and dedicated server infrastructures (preferred),
- Ability to leverage technical knowledge, optimize algorithms, and use profiling tools effectively to enhance software performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in published projects or successful game development,
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automation systems,
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (e.g., Python),
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills within a team environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Designing, testing, and optimizing gameplay mechanics from scratch in accordance with game design documents,
- Writing C++ code using the Unreal Engine 5 API and developing integrated solutions with Blueprint,
- Designing and optimizing Anim Graphs to control character animations and blend spaces,
- Utilizing Unreal Engine’s Metahuman technology to create high-quality digital characters, integrate them into game mechanics, and optimize performance,
- Metahuman facial expressions and lip movements offline in a consistent manner based on speech data from the TTS (Text-to-Speech) system,
- Designing, integrating, and optimizing dedicated server architectures to support multiplayer gaming experiences,
- Using profiling tools to enhance CPU/GPU performance, optimize code, and debug issues,
- Sharing designed systems with the team, participating in code reviews, and preparing technical documentation.
