The Opportunity
This position works at Istanbul location in the Centralized Finance Services Division that we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
What You’ll Do
- Accounting and reporting activities for third party manufacturing
- Preparation of month and year end closings, reconciliations and reports
- Accounting, reporting and reconciliation activities of Intercompany transactions
- Preparation and analysis of quarterly cost accounting file for whole entity (For statutory purposes)
- Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of company tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax documents
- Preparation and submission of monthly e-ledger
- Preparation and analysis of regular management reports (Inventory report, Accruals, Reserves, Standard Cost)
- Calculate and submit Deferred Tax for Quarter & Year End Closing processes.
- Review of company contracts for stamp tax applications.
- Lead the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation for both locally and international
- Work with operation and commercial divisions to drive opportunities for cost improvement
- Assists in compiling the data required for local consultants
- Maintaining financial historical records by filing accounting documents
- Following-up financial controls and KPI’s
Required Qualifications
- University degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering
- At least 3-4 years of experience in tax, finance or accounting
- Tax experience on audit firms or former pharma sector experience preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially excel)
