We are looking for a Excursion Operation Asst. Manager to join our Excursion Operation in Antalya Office in Türkiye. The role will report to the Excursion Manager and must be a team player who will ensure the requests from the management team & team members.
Description
- Managing the daily operations of tours and ensuring regular follow-up.
- Preparing and organizing key elements such as tour routes, accommodation, transportation, and activities.
- Creating customized tour programs based on market-specific customer demands.
- Coordinating with the field team (guides) and office operations team, and assigning tasks when necessary.
- Maintaining constant communication with suppliers to monitor service quality and conducting preliminary negotiations to obtain the best prices.
- Collecting customer feedback after tours and preparing improvement suggestions accordingly.
- Taking necessary measures to ensure that tours are conducted on time and without issues.
- Monitoring the operational budget and controlling costs.
- Analyzing business processes and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Preparing and presenting operational reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Preparing and presenting market-based sales reports to management.
- Training team members and maintaining their motivation.
- Communicating with local and international suppliers and conducting preliminary work for potential agreements.
- Resolving problems encountered during tours and performing crisis management.
Requirements
- University graduate
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, preferably with a background in operational management or tour organization
- Proficiency in English (Reading, Speaking, Writing)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Customer-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
