QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
General Requirements
- Answering all incoming reservations calls
- Ensure that all reservation requests are replied efficiently.
- Handle specific requests on room types and discounts.
- Make daily weekly monthly reservation reports and statistics and ensure they are distributed to the respective departments.
- Control room inventory in co-ordination with Revenue & Reservations Manager.
- Book room reservations while focusing on maximizing room revenue and average rate using standard rate quoting scenario at all times. Up sell rooms when possible.
- Communicate and work closely with the Sales & Marketing Department to build group blocks and enter group bookings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of OPERA and MARSHA is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of previous hotel reservations and or front desk experience.
- Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
