Headquartered in Eisenbach within the Black Forest region of Germany, Framo Morat serves our customers through the entire design process – determining specification requirements, product development & design, prototyping, testing, assembly, and mass production.
At Framo Morat Türkiye - the Turkish division of the German Franz Morat Group - we are always looking for ways to improve our products and processes. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer to join our international team at our Izmir offices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural analysis and be proficient in using ANSYS or Nastran IN-CAD simulation software. This role involves conducting advanced simulations, optimizing designs, and supporting engineering teams with high-fidelity analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on complex engineering problems related to structural applications.
- Develop, validate, and optimize simulation models.
- Interpret simulation results, identify design improvements, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and R&D engineers, to ensure simulation-driven design optimization.
- Automate and streamline FEA processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support troubleshooting and validation efforts by correlating simulations with experimental data.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis findings effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in performing finite element analysis using ANSYS (Mechanical, Workbench, or other relevant modules) or Nastran IN-CAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical behavior, material properties, and numerical simulation techniques.
- Experience in meshing, boundary conditions, solver settings, and post-processing results.
- Knowledge of CAD tools (preferably Autodesk Inventor) for model preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- English Intermediate/Advanced Level
- Ability to work independently and with international teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with optimization techniques, fatigue analysis, or nonlinear simulations.
- Previous exposure to aerospace, automotive, energy, or manufacturing industries.
- German language skills are desirable.
