Which competences do we expect?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of working experience on HSE, preferably in an international environment
- Valid B Class Occupational Health and Safety Certificate issued by the Ministry of Labour
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of lean systems, total production management
- Result-oriented with strong planning and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Self-motivated, positive, energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous learning
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and coordination abilities
- No military obligation for male candidates
What will be your responsibilities and duties?
- Know-how on HSE Management systems and risk assessment methodologies
- Actively conduct and update risk assessments and ensure that control measures are implemented and tracked
- Identify training needs of the employees in terms of health and safety (lessons learned from recently happened incidents/accidents) and generate an annual training matrix to proactively realize these trainings
- Cooperate with related parties to provide information and training to the employer and personnel on general health, occupational health and safety, personal protective equipment and collective protection methods
- Arrange documents and instruments required by Law No. 6331 and other related regulations
- Ensure that all legal documentation, notifications and reports under Law No. 6331 are prepared and submitted on time
- Check periodical equipment forms that come from production (forklift/slings/cranes etc.)
- Monitor the conditions and expiration dates of safety equipment (eye wash kits, fire extinguishers, rescue equipment, etc.)
- Prepare toolbox talk programs and coordinate with production members
- Participate in the preparation of the Annual HSE Evaluation Report and Annual Work Plan with the Occupational Physician
- Support the activities of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, attend meetings, and follow up on decisions taken
- Lead root cause analysis for work accidents and near misses, define corrective actions, and track them to closure
- Assist in internal audits, inspections, and legal inspections, and coordinate action plans
- Contribute to the development of strategy in line with corporate HSE guidelines, to ensure the realization of objectives of the assigned unit
- Coordinate liaison and establish communication protocol with regulators and agencies in HSE in case of necessity
