QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job description
· Collaborating with sales team and customer to ensure supplies are delivered to customers in a timely manner
· Implementing and maintaining operating policies on general logistics and product procedures
· Monitoring and managing budgets
· Communicating and managing sales and the product line between customers, production planning, finance and all related issues
· Selecting carriers for transportation and negotiating rates and contracts with carriers
· Responding to and resolve complaints and problems
· Keeping up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them
Requirements
· Bachelor degree
· Minimum of 5-6 years of experience of logistics processes, systems and solutions
· Good analytical skills
· Problem solving and negotiation skills
· Demonstrated attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to speak persuasively in positive or negative situations
· Self-disciplined, motivational abilities and results-oriented team player
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
· Fluent in English
