QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Unex Food seeks an experienced Export Representative to lead export sales& operations, develop international strategies, and drive global growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree from a university in fields such as International Trade, Food Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in export management.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following sectors: milling products, flour and bakery goods, grains and processed grain products, yeast, and flour improvers.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with additional proficiency in French or Arabic being an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of export regulations, letters of credit, and customs procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ERP systems, with preference given to candidates with SAP experience.
  • Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Willingness to work across different time zones to meet international market demands.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; a collaborative team player with a performance-oriented mindset.
  • A valid Class B driver’s license and the ability to drive.
  • For male applicants, completion of military service is mandatory

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Oversee export operations, ensuring full compliance with foreign trade regulations and customs laws.
    • Track and optimize export processes, expanding the company’s international customer base while aligning with company objectives.
    • Cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with international clients, identifying new opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
    • Coordinate all aspects of the export process, from order placement to final delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
    • Organize and manage company participation in international trade fairs, acting as a representative on global platforms.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet established export targets.
    • Monitor global market trends and provide insightful reports to inform business decisions.
    • Conduct financial analysis, including budget and cost assessments, for export activities.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of all foreign trade-related processes.
