QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
• Faculty of Law graduate
•At least 7-10 years of experience,
• Advanced level of English,
•Experienced in Obligation Law, Commercial Law, Labour Law, Intellectual and Industrial Rights Law,
•Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and legal compliance requirements.
• Preferably worked in international law firms or worked in global companies.

Key Responsibilities
•Legal Process Management: To coordinate all activities of Çelebi that may have legal effects and consequences, and to effectively use preventive law principles. To take necessary interventions both on a company-wide and case-by-case basis.
•To follow all legislation and official publications related to the Group’s fields of activity, to inform company management, and to provide training when necessary.
•Monitoring Current Developments: To follow all news related to the Group’s fields of activity and to take necessary actions regarding positive/negative developments.
•Contract and Document Management: To perform legal control of all contracts that may put Group companies under obligation, to prepare standard contracts, and to review all contract and commitment documents.
•Litigation Tracking and Management: To manage all litigation, execution, and legal processes initiated for or against the Group, to coordinate with external lawyers, to track files, and to report on the legal status.
•Company Establishment and Structuring: To participate in and coordinate the processes of company establishments, mergers, capital increases, and articles of association amendments.
•Corporate Governance Processes: To prepare Board of Directors and General Assembly resolutions, to organize meetings, and to follow up on necessary registration procedures.
•Policy Development & Compliance: Develop and publish inter-company policies (Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Data Protection, Competition, etc.) to ensure legal compliance. Promote ethical conduct through training programs.
•Legal Opinions & Transactions: Provide legal opinions on share trading, company termination/liquidation, signature circulars/POAs, and coordinate related documentation.
•Contract Management: Ensure all commercial contracts (Purchase Agreements, Service Agreements, NDAs, etc.) are prepared, updated, and executed in compliance with regulations.
•Labor Law Compliance: Monitor and ensure company practices adhere to labor law legislation. Provide legal opinions on labor law issues when needed.
•Competition Law & Regulation: Support the Legal Director in ensuring compliance with Competition Law and other relevant regulations.
•Trademark Management: Oversee trademark registration, coordinating with external firms and ensuring compliance with trademark legislation to protect Çelebi’s brand.
•Documentation & Tenders: Obtain company activity documents and prepare legal documents for tenders, providing legal opinions on tender documents.
•The tasks mentioned above are the areas of responsibility for Turkey, EMEA.
•Capital Market Law Compliance: Ensure all practices, permissions, announcements, and KAP statements comply with Capital Market Law regulations.
