Medical Advisor- Rare Diseases Area
Job Description
We are looking for a strong healthcare profiles with the right attitude to join our Medical Team as "Medical Advisor". Position will be based Istanbul. Medical Advisor will be reporting to Medical Manager and will work in Rare Diseases field for the company.
Job Purpose
Medical Advisor will be responsible for developing brand medico- marketing strategies; providing up-to-date and accurate medical information/ guidance/ support about related therapeutic areas and brands in line with BMED policies and requirement.
The Medical Advisor is an integral position in assuring accurate, clear and valued information regarding our scientific platform is communicated to multiple levels within the medical community. The Medical Advisor will communicate complex cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to Key Opinion Leaders.
Main Responsibility
Key to this role is to identify, develop excellent relationships with KOL’s in related therapeutic areas.
Advocating company image to scientific community and Health authorities
Participating scientific congresses, symposia, trainings and representing the company
Make presentations regarding Doctor Group Activities
Responding to medical information requests and archiving of relevant documentation and correspondence
Advocating and maintaining BMED ethical reputation with scientific stakeholders and health authority
Developing of promotional or educational materials by ensuring that any scientific data used and presented are in line with BMED policies and local regulations
Leading advisory board meetings in alignment with BMED rules and local requirements
Making gap and competitor analysis, developing and managing plans via working in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Providing medical training activities for internal and external stakeholders; prepare and review all training materials
General Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or Medicine
Previous MSL or Medical Advisor experience preferred
Background in Rare Diseases Area is an asset
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Strong commitment to compliance and to scientific quality and integrity
Highly qualified presentation skills
A good understanding of the medical data and the capability to generate outcomes
A good understanding of clinical research, e.g. study protocols, reports, and publications
Strong communication and organization skills
A good understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Set
No restrictions for travelling. A valid driving license is a must.
No Military obligations for male candidates
