QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Entity Senior Accountant has responsibility and authority to ensure that all financial processes are performed and all records are maintained in accordance with national accounting regulations and established accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:
1. Verification of all documents / transactions to ensure that all are in line with tax, statutory accounting regulations and Group policy (completeness and reliability)
2. Maintaining up-to-date accounts and other financial records
3. Recording and posting transactions in entity accounting software
4. Providing information and documents to the Group accounting for posting in Group Finance software
5. Approving records in Group Finance software
6. Reconciliation of statutory accounts to Group Finance software on a monthly basis
7. Preparing and issue of sales invoices
8. Arranging the payment of purchase invoices, staff salaries, taxes and other entity liabilities within the agreed payment terms and in line with established policies
9. Ensure timely collection of receivables.
10. Reconciliation of accounts to supporting documents and counterparties
11. Preparing and submission of statutory reports (periodical and year-end)
12. Preparing and submission of Group reports (periodical and year-end)
13. Providing other reports and entity’s financial information to Head of Financial Control/Finance Manager/Finance Business Partner/General Manager upon request
14. Communication with Auditors and Authorities on Finance related matters
15. Collecting and keeping HR data records in line with national requirements
16. Preparing of contracts of employment, maintaining personal files of employees, in line with Labor Act.

University degree (educational background in accounting/economic

Previous experience in accounting (around 3 years)
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislation
