QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controlling Supervisor to oversee all financial controlling and reporting activities at our manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, develop budgets, and drive financial performance improvements, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies
• Responsible for FP&A reporting (budgeting & forecasting etc.) and costing (product cost & inventory control etc.)
• Analyze variances, financial performance and key metrics and recommending corrective actions to management as necessary
• Coordinate and manage month-end closing period and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
• Provide mentorship and guidance to controlling team members, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous improvement
• Provides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
• Estimate product costs to support quoting activities
• Support internal and external audits

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing finance role, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles
• Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial people
• Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and character and promote ethical business behavior throughout the organization

Preferred:

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications
• 2/3 years of audit experience in Big 4 audit firms

• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI
