We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our global business partner operating in the energy sector, based in Izmir.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree from Engineering, International Trading, Business Administration or related fields,
- Minimum 3 years working experience in purchasing from manufacturing industry,
- Advanced level of verbal and written skills in English,
- Able to use ERP programs, Microsoft Office as working tool, SAP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Having an analytical mindset,
- Result-oriented and ability to work with deadlines,
- Military service should be completed for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Look for alternative/ approved suppliers in line with company material requirements,
- Place the orders based on MRP and follow delivery dates. Managining delays, coordination wirh related departments
- Continual cost improvements by studying through existing and new suppliers,
- To prepare internal and external correspondence regarding the purchasing field,
- Reach an agreement with suppliers periodically on backlogs, assets and liability statements.
