QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for personnel to work temporarily for the rehabilitation project of thermal power plant, where we are carrying out O&M activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in industrial or power plant projects.
- Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and cost management tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop initial cost estimates for the project, including materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- Break down costs into detailed categories (e.g., labor, materials, overheads) to provide a clear financial roadmap for the project.
- Continuously monitor actual costs against the approved budget to detect any discrepancies or deviations.
- Regularly update cost forecasts to reflect actual project progress and changes.
- Provide detailed cost status reports to management, indicating the current financial position of the project.
- Ensure that payments to vendors and contractors are made on time while keeping track of the project’s financial position.
- Maintain clear documentation and support payment processes by keeping all cost-related records up to date
- Prepare and process progress payment certifications
