QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr. Internal Communication and Employee Branding Specialist
Merzigo is currently looking for a dynamic Senior Internal Communication and Employer Branding Specialist to join their fast-growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies and employer branding initiatives that enhance employee engagement, reflect the company culture, and strengthen the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal communication strategies that reflect our company culture and values
- Manage internal communication channels (intranet, newsletters, internal emails, digital screens, etc.)
- Lead internal campaigns and events to boost engagement and team spirit
- Collaborate with HR to enhance the employee experience and support employer branding activities
- Support onboarding with communication materials and programs
- Promote employee stories, successes, and internal milestones
- Monitor feedback through surveys and suggest improvements
- Align internal messages with external employer branding content
- Measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and report result.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
· Master’s degree is a plus
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communication, employer branding, or corporate communications
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Proven experience in managing internal communication channels and producing engaging content
· Familiarity with employee engagement practices and employer branding strategies
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
· Basic to intermediate skills in design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) to create communication materials
· Experience with crisis or change communication is a plus
· High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information
· Flexible and proactive mindset with a willingness to work outside standard hours when necessary
· Collaborative spirit with a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
