Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Sales Specialist to join our team at Meteksan Savunma, a leading defense company in Turkiye. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting international business growth, developing new sales opportunities, and maintaining and strengthening relationships with key accounts. The Business Development and Sales Specialist will work closely with the Business Development and Sales Director and Business Development and Sales Manager to meet sales targets and expand our global market presence.


Key Responsibilities


• Support the development and execution of sales strategies to generate new business opportunities, with a focus on some key accounts in national and international markets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key national & international clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

• Identify potential leads and engage with prospective clients, supporting the sales process from initial contact to deal closure.

• Collaborate with the technical team to understand the company’s product offerings and effectively communicate the benefits to clients.

• Participate in international trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to represent the company and increase visibility in the defense industry.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for future growth.

• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the company’s capabilities and solutions.

• Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company policies.

• Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence to the Business Development and Sales Manager/Director.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that arise during or after the sales process.


Job Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is a must; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Strong understanding of defense industry trends, products, and technologies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and industry events.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Knowledge of the Turkish defense sector and relevant regulations is a plus.
