QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Tax & Accounting Manager to join our international company, which operates in the electromechanical sector in Ankara.

Required Qualifications & Competencies;

  • Graduated from the departments of Business Economics, Accounting, Finance, etc.
  • Has SMMM certificate
  • 10 years or more of experience, including at least 5 years of team management in the accounting field
  • Have a good command of all processes related to Accounting Legislation, Tax Law, Commercial Law and other legal regulations,
  • Able to follow all general accounting processes, experienced in the fields of financial statement reading, declaration, balance sheet and income statement preparation,
  • Able to successfully implement time management, competent in determining business priorities,
  • Open to development and improvement,
  • Prone to teamwork, solution-oriented, not hesitating to take responsibility when necessary,
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability,
  • Advanced English will be plus.
  • Actively use the MS Office program (especially Excel),
  • Can use ERP programs effectively (SAP knower will be preferred)
  • Will be able to carry out and report processes with a holistic perspective.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for AP, AR, GA, Asset and TAX related
  • To undertake the audit of general accounting processes and support the processes when necessary,
  • To carry out the document checks,
  • Managing Accountants team, developing them and training them whenever it is need,
  • To prepare the reports regularly and submit to the management,
  • To ensure that VAT, Income tax, stamp duty, corporations, temporary taxes, etc. are carried out within the framework of general accounting legislation,
  • To check all records and to ensure that necessary corrections are made,
  • To conclude the month end closing transactions,
  • To prepare the balance sheet and financial statements according to a uniform chart of accounts,
  • To follow up the tax, declaration and reconciliation processes,
  • Accounting department business planning, developing projects to improve business processes,
