QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
- Getting booking information from Sales and Marketing Division, booking confirmation sent forwarders/ultimate shippers by creating booking in system of company.
- Create e-booking within 2 working hours after receiving for standard dry and reefer cargo and 2 working days for Hazardous and awkward (OOG) cargo.
- Checking/amending the routing in the system. Sending application for new routing if it is not available in the system.
- Daily Customer profiles(CPFs) follow up , verify amendment in existing CPFs
- Accepting FOB export bookings from overseas agencies, checking cargo readiness with the shippers/forwarders, equipment situation and nominating available loading vessel, checking CSO and related CPF for the parties. Confirming the booking to shipper/forwarder and contract controlling COSCO agency.
- Preparing booking list according to fixed format and keeping it updated, be responsible for booking information correctly and forward/inform other relating departments.
- Providing information to the shippers for any change on vessels schedule and sending vessel ats information to customers after vessels sailed.
- Handling change of destination request.
- Handling Return to origin of import cargo from Gemlik Ports.
- Inserting SI, system Invoices, uploading invoices to web portal of customer following issuance invoice, preparing weekly schedules.
- Daily and weekly Reports
- Any possible job assigned by department manager.
Qualifications and Skill
- Bachelor’s Degree in University preferable in Logistics and Maritime business administration.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in written & verbal English is a must (part of the interview will take place in English),
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to build and manage client relationships
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
