As a Barmen/Barmaid, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will also be expected to have a good knowledge of various drinks and be able to make recommendations to customers.
General Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Barmen/Barmaid or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Certification in bartending or mixology is a plus
Job Description
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
