We are looking for a Crane Mechanical Specialist to join our team. The role will be based in Kocaeli/Türkiye .
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitors relevant legal regulations and takes necessary actions for compliance.
- Follows updates on company policies, procedures, principles, and instructions, taking necessary actions accordingly. These procedures are not limited to engineering procedures but also include policies, procedures, and instructions related to all relevant processes such as health, safety, environment, finance, operations, and legal matters that concern both equipment and personnel.
- Tracks relevant national and international standards and takes necessary actions for compliance.
- Monitors updates on goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cranes and associated equipment.
- Provides recommendations and takes necessary actions to achieve and exceed MMBF and MTBF targets for QC, MHC, and RTG cranes.
- Offers suggestions and implements necessary actions to achieve and exceed maintenance completion rate (PM compliance), availability, and availability occupied targets for QC, MHC, and RTG cranes.
- Conducts all activities within the framework of health, safety, financial, technical, and operational goals and constraints.
- Takes necessary actions to achieve and exceed the lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) and recordable incident frequency rate (RFIR) targets.
- Ensures that personal and subordinate staff meet their mandatory training and certification program participation targets.
- Performance targets and key performance indicators are not limited to the ones mentioned above; take necessary actions to achieve all company-designated goals.
- When necessary, performs the duties of the crane and automation manager, crane electrical and automation specialist, team leaders, and technicians.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer)
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and projects,
- Experience in maintenance, repair, and project management for STS, RTG, and MHC cranes,
- Experience in reading and revising electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams,
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques (vibration and ultrasound analysis, thermal measurements, oil analysis, and other non-destructive testing methods),
- Knowledge and experience with the 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Directive,
- Proficiency in English at a level capable of making presentations,
- Experience with office software, Maximo, or CMMS,
- Curious, investigative, analytical, and hardworking,
- Documentation and presentation skills,
- Experience in team management,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Experience with continuous improvement and lean methods (Kaizen, 5S, A3, T-card, etc.),
- Class B driving license,
- Able to swim,
- Able to work at heights,
