Qualifications
Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Foreign Trade Specialist to work in the Foreign Trade Department in Turkey.
- Graduate of relevant departments from universities or vocational schools,
- 3 to 5 years of experience in foreign trade operation processes,
- Proficient in MS Office applications with strong presentation and reporting skills,
- Good level of English proficiency in both written and verbal communication,
- Experienced in export-import and customs clearance processes,
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international transportation processes
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a team-oriented approach,
- Collaborative and willing to work with different teams,
- Residing in Istanbul's Asian Side or Kocaeli region.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and following up on documents and operational processes related to import and export activities,
- Coordinating and monitoring customs procedures with the customs brokerage firm,
- Conducting freight research, selecting appropriate suppliers, and organizing necessary arrangements,
- Managing shipments between warehouses, bonded warehouses, and factories,
- Conducting annual performance evaluations of suppliers under responsibility in accordance with company procedures,
- Preparing and sharing required reports for the relevant periods with the respective departments.
