QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities for the ‘’ Azure System and Network Administrator ’’ position are as follows:
- Configuration and maintenance of networked systems, encompassing system software and applications.
- Continuous monitoring of system performance to ensure seamless and secure operations.
- Proficiency in creating, configuring, upgrading, migrating, and patching Windows Server and SQL databases.
- Support for the professional services team in the installation of new robots, servers, and upgrades to existing systems.
- Oversight of network access and administration privileges.
- Evaluation of current performance, capacity, and capabilities, along with forecasting future requirements.
- Effective troubleshooting of technical network and server issues, offering technical support and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with customers and vendors to gather information and troubleshoot problems.
- Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external teams to address a wide range of technical issues and processes.
- Ensuring data backup and conducting regular tests to verify backup functionality.
- Support for core Windows server roles and features, including Active Directory, remote desktop services, file sharing, IIS, DHCP, DNS, MSSQL, and Group Policy.
- Compliance with information technology system management and reporting standards in alignment with ISO (ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000-1) and SOC2.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting applications and functions in Azure Cloud, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred certifications related to the cloud environment, such as MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, CCNA Cloud, or Microsoft Azure Administrator certificates.
- Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network, and Security.
- Solid knowledge of Azure cloud platform and services, including Bastion, VNET, NSGs, Firewall, Compute, database, app registrations, and more.
- Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory, including GPO management, Conditional Access policy, and related aspects.
- Strong understanding of backup, restore, recovery, and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, and security matters.
- A strong foundation in working with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Knowledge of network protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP.
- Familiarity with network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting.
- Understanding of Azure Firewall, FortiGate firewall, VPN Gateways, client VPN connectivity, and client troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in PowerShell skills.
