QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of Fairmont Quasar Istanbul’s strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. Assisting to and cooperating with the Director of Sales & Marketing in reaching the targeted goals of Fairmont Quasar Istanbul as defined in the marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee branding and communications operations. Leverage multiple platforms (including web, print, and graphics) to maintain company’s image among guests and the public.
- Act as a liaison between media and the hotel. Coordinating all Public Relations and social media activities for hotel, preparing e-newsletters and press releases.
- Enhanced company's market position and relationship with media; devised and executed a plan to increase public awareness of the corporate brand as well as the hotel itself including its outlets.
- Lead strategic marketing communications plan development and ensure strategic alignment of all functional plans with corporate strategy directives, marketing strategies and marketplace challenges.
- Drive all advertising and branding campaigns, measurements, and results.
- Responsible for the brand marketing, PR, social media, partner marketing, web marketing of all the outlets of the hotels, including restaurants/bars and spa.
- Managed advertising campaigns.
- Preparing and executing yearly marketing plan.
- Managing the website and writing content.
- Analyzing the web analytical report and social media report.
- Preparing monthly clipping report.
- The coordination and record of marketing activities and campaigns of the brand.
- Determined type, location and frequency of media. Negotiated contracts with media companies.
- Responsible from the overall launch events, PR activities and sponsorship activities.
- Organizing special festivals, parties and events
- Preparing all the collaterals such as poster, flyer and invitation
- Planning PR activities
- Being Manager on Duty twice a month and substitute for General Manager
- Welcoming delegations, participating special events such as royal/ministerial visits, conferences, trade and economy-related events
Qualifications
To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) Years of Hotel Sales or Marketing Experience.
- Good command of English required.
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Highly professional presentations and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform critical analysis.
