QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement, specifically within indirect categories
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation or a similar role
• Experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in the medical sector is considered an asset
• Preferably knowledgeable in foreign trade operations and Free Trade Zone procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of both local and international teams
• Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally
• Committed to adhering to the company’s core values and compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and result-oriented
• Residing in Antalya or open to relocation
• No military obligation for male candidates
General Responsibilities
• Responsible for the procurement of assigned materials and services, including contracting, ordering, demand communication, delivery schedule coordination, and monitoring of orders through to invoicing
• Collaborate with legal and procurement departments to ensure contract terms are in alignment with legal requirements, regulations, and company objectives
• Lead and manage contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations
• Apply advanced negotiation skills to achieve favorable contract terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships
• Contribute to purchasing strategies aligned with material requirements, cost efficiency, and quality standards
• Conduct market and industry analysis, identify potential suppliers and materials, obtain business unit approval, and negotiate agreements
• Implement quality management system principles in daily procurement activities and make necessary updates to related procedures
• Oversee purchasing processes for assigned goods, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery objectives
• Apply sourcing policies and serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding specifications and budgets
• Maintain strong functional knowledge in purchasing and sourcing concepts
• Balance tactical operations with strategic cost-reduction initiatives
• Ensure continuous supply of necessary goods and materials, proactively addressing any risks to business continuity
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Propose and implement innovative procurement practices to enhance operational efficiency and support business goals
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, seeking to maximize value through best practices
