We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul, for CoreX Holding Metals & Mining.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, company valuation, transaction services, or corporate finance
- Solid understanding of key financial concepts such as WACC, DCF, EBITDA multiple, and Book Value
- Good knowledge of accounting principles with the ability to trace account movements effectively
- Strong grasp of cash flow statement fundamentals
- Excellent organizational skills and a collaborative team spirit
- CPA qualification and/or minimum CFA Level I is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong writing skills, with proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts in different markets
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and take a part of detailed financial models to analyze and forecast financial performance
- Perform technical and financial analysis of companies, assets
- Ability to review and comment on due diligence report for potential investments.
- Conduct research, industry analyses and economic trends, perform market and comparable analysis to determine the estimated value of potential assets
- Conduct pre-due diligence activities related to transactions and prepare reports on findings
- Analyze financial information and develop financial models to support company valuation, assets, and securities
- Continuously monitor and update financial models to reflect changes in business strategies, market conditions, and other relevant factors.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Prepare informative presentations, memorandum and reports on valuation findings
- Assist in preparing documents related to transactions
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulations affecting subsidiary entities
