MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 300 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Solid Background in Mechanics of Materials (especially PP, PVC) , Mechanical Design Principles and Fluid Mechanics. Professional with at least one of the mechanical design softwares (Solidworks is a plus). Familiarity with Manufacturing and Inspection Processes as well as mechanical piping applications 2 years relevant experience in product design and development with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle. Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes, particularly those of machining parts and assemblies. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Design Control procedures (DFSS etc). Familiarity with a Phase-Gate development process. Understanding of CAE tools (FEA, CFD, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge of applied mechanical engineering in product design and evaluation. Strong aptitude for hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab/shop environment. Disciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements,technical drawings, design reviews, and test methods). Prefarably experienced in project management Experience working with cross functional, multicultural teams globally. Preferably working knowledge of common and specialty engineering materials Possess excellent time management skills. Be able to take the initiative to meet deadlines and the ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision in a team environment. Strong self-planning discipline and self-start to work. Strong written and verbal skills in English.
Contributes as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner. Design and develop product improvements on current product categories Develop engineering B.O.M.’s May assist with development of manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication processes Confers with engineering and technical personnel regarding manufacturing and testing of prototype systems, and modifies design as required. Documentation of engineering drawings, revision history, etc. using PDM (follow good drafting standards, geometric tolerances, etc.
