As C.E.S İleri Kompozit ve Savunma Teknolojileri A.Ş., which operates in the field of Defence Industry within Açık Holding, we are looking for a “Production Manager” to work in the production facility of our growing organisation in Ankara Malıköy Anadolu OSB, who will be responsible for the activities in the job description and who meets the following qualifications.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from universities in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
- At least 15 years of management experience in production within manufacturing plants.
- Preferably experienced in composite materials and manufacturing techniques used in defense and industrial projects, with at least 5 years of experience in this field.
- Knowledge and experience in the production methods of composite materials (part manufacturing, measurement, assembly or engineering or leadership in these processes)
- Familiar with process-based quality management systems, quality assurance, and quality control applications (ISO 9001, AS 9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, handling large-scale, critical projects, managing both companies and personnel effectively.
- Experienced in 5S, Kaizen, and Process Management.
- Proficient in reporting.
- Open to learning, energetic, and having development goals.
- Able to work quickly and results-oriented in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in advanced English.
- Proficient in using ERP software (preferably IFS).
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to Ankara.
- For male candidates, completed military service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Having at least 15 years of experience in the following areas:
- Preparing and monitoring the annual production department budget.
- Ensuring production targets are achieved with the desired quality, within the set time frame, and at optimal cost.
- Coordinating and working in harmony with all related departments in production, including human resources, planning, procurement, design, logistics, maintenance, repair, quality, and others.
- Coordinating the periodic maintenance of the machines used in production.
- Initiating and monitoring machine capacity calculations and workforce planning.
- Identifying the root causes of situations that negatively impact production and quality, and taking preventive actions to address these issues.
- Conducting material and labour usage analysis and taking action to reduce costs in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Monitoring and evaluating the work processes of the team under supervision, providing necessary guidance and direction.
- Ensuring that all production activities are carried out in compliance with quality system procedures and instructions, in collaboration with the Quality Department, and conducting regular audits.
- Creating, executing, and improving the process flows within the area of responsibility.
- Identifying the training needs of the production staff in collaboration with Human Resources and ensuring the provision of necessary training.
- Ensuring that personnel adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards and procedures in cooperation with the Occupational Health and Safety unit.
- Leading lean production and process improvement activities, ensuring their implementation.
- The role involves conducting cost analyses of labour and material usage in production and sharing findings with the relevant departments.
