QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Supplier Operations Team Manager for our Supply Chain Team that is located in Cayirova/Kocaeli.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a master’s degree is a plus,
- Proven experience in supply chain processes in related industries,
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English,
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills,
- Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in Excel,
- Ability to resolve conflicts,
- Competency in foreign trade and customs regulations,
- Ability to multitask, be a leader, and remain calm under pressure.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that purchased goods are delivered to the manufacturing department on time in full of the good quality at the negotiated price,
- Investigating the possible problems that may occur during the material supply process, sharing the actions that should be taken urgently with the related persons,
- Build communication protocol with the Projects Management and Production,
- Ensure to be a good interface with internal customers/suppliers,
- Optimize the material management cost by the cooperation with Sourcing,
- Analyze/ adjust stock parameters to coincide with lead time changes,
- Monitor closely the level of obsolete stock and try to minimize these levels,
- Participate and validate scheduled reviews of stock parameters,
- Manage monthly closing production orders with stakeholders, after that closing project with checking inventory, activities.
